Developed by Dr. Doug Jacobson and protected by US patent #6,044,402, Palisade's unique core technology allows Palisade to deliver products with superior performance, security, and stealth. They sit passively on networks, unobtrusively examining traffic for prohibited connections or integrate inline to provide comprehensive data protection by blocking the dissemination of private information. When prohibited connections are detected, the technology impersonates the host end of the connection and issues a reset packet to the requesting (client) end, immediately causing the connection to terminate.
